Not completely convinced about the lack of magic, Elizabeth eyes Rachel and lifts one shoulder in a shrug.
"By most standards, I'm considered the same," she admits. "I do not care."
By choice? The very idea is alien. For all her pride and temper, Elizabeth isn't stupid and can imagine instances in which living here might be preferable to a person's home, but she doesn't dwell on it.
